Three separate sheets of paper are triplexed together. This method of business card printing can give your business card a sandwich effect, particularly if you use a contrasting coloured sheet as the centrepiece.

Triplex business cards are either 810gsm or 940gsm thick, which is almost 1mm thick if you measured them with a ruler.

Yes we can laminate our 810gsm triplex business cards with either, gloss, matt or soft-touch lamination.

There are 3 main lamination types we use as standard on business cards, these are:

• Gloss – Dazzle with our Gloss Laminated cards, with a reflective shine that brightens your graphics, and creates vibrant colours. On a super thick 450gsm card, it’s water-resistant, and has a strong tactile grip.
• Matt – For a sophisticated finish, try our Matt Laminated cards. These cards are built to withstand the everyday wear-and-tear of life on the road. Its smooth finish brings out the lighter colours in the graphic, and allows for a softer image.
• Soft Touch – Some things have to be felt to be believed. Our Soft Touch cards have an astonishingly velvet finish. This card exudes class and sophistication, and is a must have for premium businesses.

Triplex business cards are made by printing the front and back of the card onto separate sheets. This is then hand assembled with a choice of a coloured sheet sandwiched in the middle.

Unfortunately not. Laminated paper is difficult to recycle as the paper cannot be separated from the lamination once applied.
