We all love something for nothing even though it rarely ever happens, but we all live in hope. Some businesses are in the habit of giving things away to entice customers to maybe delve a little deeper, and it’s a fantastic way to get them interested in whatever it is you have to sell. But what else can you do?

There is much more you can do that just give customers small things for free. You can hand another business (if they aren’t the competition) your freebies if they’re willing to set them out on display. It can be extremely difficult to get a business off the ground and a challenge-and-a-half to keep the business rolling in. It always feels like you’ve a hundred and one things to juggle and even then, you’re always missing something. Why not team up with another business and help each other out as a way of cross-advertising without even trying.

This is purely an example. But if you teamed up with a small cafe or restaurant it would be a fantastic idea to get a batch of placemats or coasters made up with your business details front and centre. With hundreds of customers coming and going, buying meals and drinks, and they’d all get to see your business advertised and not only that, because of the setting, you’re automatically much more reliable and established.

Easier Than You Think

It can be a daunting prospect to approach a business and pitch this idea, but you have to remember that every business owner is always looking for a way to get even more business and if you can help them as much as they can help you then you’re already halfway there. And why stop at one business? Why stop at one café? As soon as you get one on board then go for the second and then the third. Before you know it you’ll have an army of cafés and restaurants all with coasters and placemats with your company logo and contact details. All these customers will see your business and have that chance to get in touch. If you really want to be fancy, you can stick a QR code on there as well. The options of what you can get printed are endless.
